Nenad Duda Petrović / OTPOR! (Serbia) is a freelance graphic designer from Belgrade. He is best known for his involvement in the Serbian OTPOR! (Resistance!) Movement against Slobodan Milošević, for which he created the well known and often copied symbol of a fist, which has since been adopted by resistance movements worldwide. The story of the fist demonstrates how a single, well-designed graphic symbol can transcend its local origins to become a universal visual language of resistance — replicable, adaptable, and immediately recognizable across cultures and contexts.
